2012 sets in!

Jan 14th, was the official closing of Nepal Tourism Year 2011 and inauguration of Visit Lumbini Year 2012 and launch of Tourism Vision 2020. Our team participated in the event for a special performance titled ‘Tourism Vision’. While helping the national cause, we felt blessed to start our year at the birthplace of Lord Buddha. May all of us find success and more importantly, inner peace in this year.

Only a week before this, on Jan 7th, our team pledged to donate our eyes after death at a function held at Tilganga Eye Hospital. All 7 of us have signed up for this valuable cause. At the function we heard senior artist, Hari Bansha Acharya, choking as he said his wife’s spirit continues with the sight her eyes has provided to two young girls. Hollywood actor Joel Edgerton spoke about the cause. Nepali actress Arunima Lamsal also pledged to donate her eyes. We feel lucky to have gotten this opportunity.

An awesome beginning to 2012 indeed. Kilimanjaro, here we come!
